Description

Liquefied chlorine - which should not be confused with gaseous chlorine aqueous solutions – is an amber colored liquid, resulting from compressing gaseous chlorine, the latter being produced from brine electrolysis.

It is offered in steel cans conforming to the most stringent national and international specifications.

Uses

- Cellulose materials delignification in the paper industry.

- Bactericide in the process of making water drinkable.

- Disinfectant and anti-bacterial product.

- Bleaching agent in the textile industry.

- Chlorination agent in the synthesis of organic products in the chemical industry.

- Used for meat, fish, fruit and vegetable processes.

- Reagent in the pigment industry.

- Extraction, purification, recovery, separation and treatment agent in the metallurgic industry.

- Used in the treatment of industrial wastes.
