Simezine belongs to the triazine group and has been used for 45 years, like Atrazine. It controls grass and broad-leaved trees in corn, alfalfa, sugarcane, artichoke, tea, apple, pear, citric, grape, walnut, pine and eucalyptus crops, among others. It has systemic and residual action. It is absorbed through roots.
